I have to tell you this has been a very exciting summer for the digital marketing industry. We have been under the thumb of Google for so long when it comes to ad choices. This summer we’ve seen great strides in the offerings of the big social media platforms.
Today, Twitter upped its game when they announced Flight School, an online training system aimed at helping marketers navigate Twitter, its ad system and all of their tools including Vine.
The down side? Flight School is for agencies. Twitter knows that they need the support of agencies to compete and continue to grow market share in the social business space. They need these agencies to understand their new products and to help promote them to their clients when they become available.
I’m signing up for flight school and hope to be able to pass some of that knowledge back to you. As I often say, I love to do research and break down complex concepts in to easy actionable steps. It take three months to get through Flight School, so I imagine there are plenty of complex concepts to dissect.
